Yanelis Mora Morales

Yanelis Mora comes from the world of dramatic arts. As a nationally celebrated actress in Cuba, already skilled in the making of costumes, puppets and scenographic elements, she has chosen textiles as a form of expression in the visual arts. Using the full potential of abstract language, the exhaustive study of color and light with its complex and sensitive patterns, she gives each of her constructed textiles a very distinct and powerful character of its own.
